Rafi-Kaneez Memorial Education Society was born in the memory of   Mr. Syed. Mohammad Rafi and his wife Mrs. Kaneez Begum.
Mr. Syed. Mohammad Rafi was a multifaceted genius who foresaw things to come. He was at once a seer, visionary, educationist and philanthropist. He was a reformist and with his prophetic sight he envisaged the culmination of an east west blend of modern value and skill driven education. He ardently advocated education of the girl child. Emancipation of the mind, body and spirit was what he aimed at. He was urged with the need to dispel darkness of ignorance and non education among the masses in this part of the country which was averse, at times hostile to education. Mr. Rafi was particularly perturbed by the attitude of the Muslims who were unprepared to accept the changing phase of the world. He was pained to see his own community languishing under the blanket of superstition and dogma.Unfortunately he did not live long to realize his dreams.
Nonetheless the seeds of his dedication, desire and determination were germinated in his dynamic diehard optimist progeny   Mr. M.F.Zaidi. Urged to fulfil his father’s dream Mr. Zaidi along with like-minded people and enlightened Muslims who fortituously believed in Mr. Rafi’s dreams, founded the Rafi-Kaneez Memorial Education Society in memory of his parents ; and out of the core of this society was born Regency Public School.

The Society is registered under the Societies Registration Act 21,1860 along with the registration under sec 12A and 80G(5) of The Income Tax Act . It is a non political, non profiting voluntary organization whose motto is to ‘'teach man that which he knew not’'		  
     
 
 
 

The Society envisages to produce dutiful, respectable, honest, disciplined, confident committed, morally courageous, futuristic human beings and nation builders. Fortifiers with integrity and self esteem, respecting the dignity of labour and with the will to achieve. For education is the advancement of mental, aesthetic, moral and physical development. The Society wants to provide the best in education. It will not only be an example in itself but also be the last word in education. With Mr. Rafi’s vision foremost in their mind the Society envisages to pick up the raw clay and churn them out into the finest time tested product coveted by all. The Society is working meticulously towards the making of this Institute into a Deemed University. Already the Institute has gone up to the level of offering undergraduate studies in the Science and Education streams. It has in its offering a College of Pharmacy, a Dental and a Medical college, Engineering College, a college for Applied Sciences. The Institute from its Primary to Secondary level has been granted The Minority Status by the State Government. The promise to uplift a Society that has long been looked down for its own seclusion and recluse nature will soon come to the fore with the efforts of Rafi-Kaneez Memorial Education Society.
 
     
 
 
     
 
 
     
 

The Society has taken up the task of making her vision come true by giving the Nation and the World a contingent of young citizens who can take the world in their stride.It certainly aims to fulfil its mission to see a complete revolution amongst the Muslim community by offering the best and by opening up the world before them. At the same time imbibing in them great theological values alongwith ample opportunities in modern methods. It endeavours to bring about a radical change especially amongst the members of the Muslim community.
Though an Islamic Society and Islamic in essence it has the broadmindedness of reaching out to all and sundry. The fabric is essentially secular. Its doors are open to all. A highly congenial social ambience is created wherein a pleasant and delightful symbiosis prevails. This is where it outshines and outwits other academies.
